H. Richard Bennett is an Associate at Ricketts, Harris LLP.

Richard is an experienced litigation lawyer with his practice focusing on commercial litigation.  He has broad expertise in the areas encompassing contract disputes, debtor/creditor law, corporate and shareholder remedies, bankruptcy and insolvency law, employment law, construction law, real estate law, defamation law, estate litigation, securities litigation and alternative dispute resolution.  He has served a variety of individual and corporate clients, including private and public corporations and various financial institutions.

Richard has appeared on motions, applications, trials and appeals at all levels of Ontario Courts including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.  He has also appeared before various administrative and regulatory bodies including those appointed under the Human Rights Code, the Employment Standards Act, the New Home Warranties Plan Act, the Securities Act and the Residential Tenancies Act.
