James S. Quigley is an Associate at Ricketts, Harris LLP and has a broad real estate and business practice. James is a long time veteran of the Ontario real estate bar, having practiced throughout southern and central Ontario. He concentrates on the purchase, sale, leasing and financing of residential, commercial and industrial properties and multi-unit residential buildings with both public and private sector clients. Since arriving at Ricketts Harris LLP, James has been collaborating with Mark R. McMackin on condominium conversion projects located throughout the Province.
James has also committed himself to assisting real estate investors in the acquisition, development and leasing of land, through organizations such as the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) [link goes here]. He has presented on a number of topics relevant to the real estate investment community.
His business law practice encompasses incorporation and corporate structuring, corporate finance, shareholder rights and remedies, business licensing and regulation, and the purchase and sale of businesses.
When not in the office, James indulges his love of books, travel, and history.

James is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations.
He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2000.
