Michael White is a Partner at Ricketts, Harris LLP and conducts
a practice as a personal legal advisor, managing the legal affairs
of individuals, family owned businesses and charities.
Michael is
a strong and well-grounded lawyer. He is a family's lawyer, serving
as a comprehensive legal resource in business, estate planning,
estate administration and charitable organization
matters.
Michael has maintained long-term working
relationships with his clients by providing extraordinary service,

related plan implementations. Because of the extent of his knowledge
of the individual, their aspirations and the business operation,

Michael is a very experienced and competent estates planner
and administrator and is a charter member of the Canadian Branch of
the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He
concentrates on the preservation and control of client wealth, as
well as setting in place the agreed to mechanisms to release the
estate value according to evolving client needs and direction.
He provides guidance as to estate planning, estate administration,
trusts, on ownership structure for business disposition or
succession, and business succession planning. His clients request
his insight on routine matters as well on issues relating to
extremely complex asset holdings, contested estates and internal
family disputes.

Involvement
Michael is a charter member of the
Canadian Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners
(STEP) as well as a member of the Law Society of England, the
Canadian, Ontario and American Bar Associations, the Estate Planning
Council of Toronto, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Lawyer's Club
of Toronto, and the Osgoode Society. In addition, Michael serves on
the Business Law Executive of the Ontario Bar Association. Michael
was also a contributing editor to the title "Wills" of the Canadian
Abridgment (2nd Edition), and the title "Executors and
Administrators" of the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest (3rd Edition).
Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1967. Admitted as a Solicitor
in England 1966
