John has been described as a “low-key, high-powered lawyer” who strives to help clients achieve the best result, no matter what the circumstances or prevailing emotions that come and go during a separation and divorce. Those who have dealt with him as a client, adversary or peer are impressed by John’s knack for quickly and accurately analysing and assessing a dispute. His successful track record of success is built on superb negotiation skills, imaginative thinking, a sensible approach and keen emotional insight of the overall interests of his client and his or her spouse.
“I always try my best to act reasonably and rationally,” John explains, “so I can manage the complexities and volatility that emotionally charged actions generate. It’s the only way to lead a client to the best possible outcome.”
Many clients are impressed by John’s ability to successfully work through even the most hostile disagreements without escalating antagonism between spouses. Clients experience a fair, dignified, well-organized and cost effective settlement of their matrimonial issues and assets without rushing to court. Indeed, John believes strongly that “going to war” is appropriate only when all good faith negotiation and other efforts to settle are exhausted.
When he does go to court, John acts rapidly to address immediate concerns and help clients regain control over their lives. Not intimidated by the usual courtroom histrionics, hostilities and allegations, John is known for his superb litigation skills.
